Gut Healing Pomegranate Jelly
This recipe is such a simple, tasty but effective gut healing jelly. The whole family love to eat this jelly and the best part is that it doesn’t have any nasty artificial colours or sweeteners. Gelatin can improve gut integrity, digestive strength, joint health and reduce inflammation.
- 3 cups of pomegranate juice or any other cold pressed or homemade juice of your choice
- 2 tablespoons of grass fed gelatin powder
- Raw organic honey or organic maple syrup (optional)
- Pour 3 cups of organic pomegranate juice into a saucepan
- Whilst heating the pomegranate juice, add 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder into the saucepan and stir until the gelatin dissolves into the juice
- Turn off the stove and let the mixture cool down in the saucepan
- When the mixture has cooled down, you can add some raw organic honey or organic maple syrup as a sweetener
- Pour into a large bowl or jelly mould and place in the fridge to set
- After a few hours in the fridge, the jelly should be set. Enjoy the benefits of a healthy jelly!
